I am the astonished and proud owner of an exquisite Pat Halsell Norwegian landscape painting commissioned by some friends on the occasion of a big birthday. It is the crown jewel of my home. This piece of luminous art combines her acute technical craftsmanship with an ability to create the illusion of three-dimensional space seemingly effortlessly. The natural light emanating from the moody mid-summer sky and the Vermeer blue lake water brings me back to a time before time, when the rhythms of nature were unsullied by the travelers lucky enough to witness such a landscape. Thanks to Pat’s remarkable skill, I am transported daily to one of my favorite places on earth.
Patricia Halsell occasionally accepts commissions, and her collectors enjoy the collaborative process between artist and client. Please contact her by email for further information.
